cabaret in flames is now available on netgalley
Hello again,
Just a quick update to say that CABARET IN FLAMES is now available on NetGalley! If you want to read it, you can request an ARC for free in exchange for an honest review. You can also pre-order it here.

August was also Women in Translation month, so I prioritized reading translated books (and let me tell you: there were many good ones!). You can see the full list on my Instagram, but I’m including one of them as today’s recommendation.
See you next month,

You Glow in the Dark 🇧🇴 Ustedes Brillan en lo Oscuro
(Liliana Colanzi, 2022, trans. Chris Andrews)
A fast but engaging collection featuring seven speculative short stories by Bolivian author, from a cave in different moments of history to the devastating Goiânia radiological accident. Colanzi’s voice is odd and charming, the pacing is great, and the humor present through many of the tales is welcome and well-placed.
